| ADVANCED LEADERSHIP CAMP: |
3 Days, 2 Nights – Weekends – All
Services. Advanced camp is designed for second or third year cadets who have completed the Basic Leadership Camp. Here, the cadets are introduced to the principles of leading others, however, they must accomplish this without the mantel of authority. Specific leadership tasks are assigned that must be completed before the end of this camp. Cadets are evaluated on their personal progress as well as the performance of the Basic Leadership Camp cadets under their influence. This is a very powerful introduction to leadership of others, suitable for both current and future leaders in JROTC units.

| SENIOR LEADERSHIP SUMMER CAMP |
|
5 Days, 4 Nights –
Weekdays & Weekends - Service Specific. Our
most advanced leadership training where the cadets are the
leaders of each event during the camp. This camp is
designed for third and fourth year cadets. It is
recommended for cadets that have attended our Basic and
Advanced Leadership Camps, but this is not a prerequisite
as all cadets who are eager to develop their leadership
skills do well with this training. All of the events
are challenging physically, mentally and emotionally.
Events include logic problems, logistic problems, and
endurance problems. This camp is designed to hone
the leadership skills of all cadets and prepare them for
leadership billets in their JROTC unit, as well as
leadership positions in their adult life after graduation. |

| LOCATION: |
Leadership Challenge Basic and Advanced Camps are
planned in various cities in the southwestern United States. Our Senior Leadership Summer Camps are held at our brand new facility located in Eastern Central Nevada just outside of Great Basin National Park. Cadets are bused from Salt Lake City, Utah, or Las Vegas, Nevada to the site. There are adequate living quarters in the Residence Hall, and our Mess Hall features a full commercial kitchen where cadets, (under adult supervision) prepare their meals. Cadets are freed from all distractions during training as there are no television sets and no cellular service, meaning no phone calls, texting, etc. Nature abounds at this site where deer are seen daily, and many domestic animals are
kept. Cadets and instructors alike are impressed
with the natural beauty of this site. Early
morning marches include wildlife viewing. |
